Role Description:

Enry’s Island S.p.A. is the world’s first and only publicly traded Venture Builder (Vienna Stock Exchange, Ticker: EIOS) , with a distributed team of over 800 stakeholders worldwide, 5 Local Companies and over 30 startups in portfolio focused mainly in the Web 3.0, Metaverse, Blockchain and Gaming sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Game/Level Designer with deep experience in designing complex game logic, mini-games, and game systems for online multiplayer and management titles. The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing games that integrate strategic and multiplayer mechanics, ensuring a smooth and engaging game experience.

1.Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze game metrics and player feedback to make continuous improvements.
  • Clearly document and communicate game logic, economic systems, and player interaction dynamics.
  • Experiment with new game mechanics to improve the interactivity, strategy, and depth of management games.
  • Implement feedback systems to improve the balance and overall experience of management and multiplayer games.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary development teams (programming, graphics, sound) to ensure that game logics are well integrated and optimized.
  • Design and balance resource management systems, internal economics, and player progression in multiplayer settings.
  • Create minigames and challenges that seamlessly integrate with the dynamics of management games and foster player interaction in multiplayer environments.
  • Design and implement complex game logic, with a focus on minigames and gameplay mechanics for online management and multiplayer games.

2.Requirements needed:

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and clearly communicate game design concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of game logic and how to balance strategic complexity with fun and accessibility.
  • Knowledge of social dynamics in multiplayer games and creating player interactions.
  • Familiarity with game development platforms (Unreal Engine, Unity) and creating smooth and balanced game experiences.
  • Expertise in designing game mechanics and minigames that integrate with management and multiplayer systems.
  • Deep knowledge of resource management dynamics, building economic systems, and player progression in multiplayer contexts.
  • Prior experience as a Game Designer or Level Designer, with a focus on management games and online multiplayer.

3.Optional/plus skills:

  • Knowledge of emerging dynamics and trends in multiplayer and management games.
  • Scripting or programming skills for rapid prototyping with particular focus on Unity 3D.
  • Experience in creating persistent multiplayer and long-term management games.
